Need Help

Anyone within the Scarborough/Ajax area that owns a Camaro 2012?
I would like to meet up and test a USB.
I want to be sure that it is my Radio/USB/Infotainment/PDIM unit that it isn't broken.

Thanks.

not in your neck of the woods but here's a few things you can try:

1) try charging a device with the usb port - if it charges, then there's voltage and no problems with the USB port..it might be the usb key
2) i've run into trouble before with USB keys with music on them...make sure they're formatted as FAT32 (not NTFS) otherwise most of these units can't read the filesystem.
Try other USB devices (other keys formatted as FAT/FAT32) too, or iPods etc.

There is voltage and it does detect the drive. It just clicks/skips and water wash. I have another post here that you can take a look at (Infotainment Unit/Radio Issue). I want to see if it is the same on other camaro or is it just my ride. Then I can proceed to tell GM that they need to replace it due to defective or get yet another USB drive. This is my 3rd drive already.
