my route so far

I have my trip planned out for 6-8 hour days and we are leaving on saturday. We could cut off about 400 kms but we want to see some of the country side also.Hopefully we can hook up with others on there routes ause it is always fun to travel in a group. If anyone on our route knows of a must see landmark or place please let me know.

Looks like a good route. But wouldn't it save you some Miles to come towards Minneapolis and then head towards Indy?

it would save me a few but the company i work for is owned by berkshire so i might get a picture at the office. i am also a little redneck and the big city is not for me so i can drive a few more miles to avoid that lol.

If you change your mind, there's a growing group of us Chicago area people meeting and going down on Thursday morning... (there's likely to be a few meet points from north (not too far from the Cabella's on your map, in Hoffman Estates) to south, on I80 near the IN border...
