2010 Camaro 2ss vs 2012 Mustang GT 5.0
A coworker just bought a new 2012 Mustang GT 5.0 in black. First of all, let me just say that my black 2ss looks way better but I have some cosmetic mods.
As far as racing, I have a Flowmaster AT catback exhaust and a CAI, inc. intake with an LS3, he is bone stock, but also a manual. Who is faster?

I'd say you've got the edge.

It will really depend IMO. The 5.0 has the ability to run faster with equal drivers. I'm not sure how well the OP and his friend/co-worker can drive and him having a Cat-back and intake gives him a bigger edge. Run him at a track and see what happens OP.

Yeah, more bench racing threads. I got one for ya. Go race and find out which one is faster on that given day. The driver has a lot to do with the outcome of a race. You could have more power and get your clock cleaned if you're not as good as the other guy.

That's about what I figured. Given equal driver's I would like to think I could take him...I will report back with the results.

If you cant race him then at least poke jabs at him for not waiting another month or so for the refreshed 2013 that has more power, standard HID, improved looks, and better options like Recaro's.
That ought to get under his blue oval skin.
