Halos as DRLs on NON-RS Cars - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I almost have this done except for one problem. I have a relay in the parking light circuit (in parallel) on the drivers side, and it controls the low beam headlights (12v 30 amp SPST relay) with my halos on parallel with the low beams. Everything works perfect with the car off and running on battery power. With the engine turned on, the parking lights don't come on for the drivers side, along with the front drivers side marker.

Is there something in the parking light circuit that prevents a relay being added to it? Why is it only when the engine is running that the circuit messes up? (I checked for loose wires and that wasn't it).

Here is a picture of the DRLs on with my work around so far on the drivers side.

Did u get your hid's in too?

Yes, I have my HID kit in, 4300k.

Think the problem is the relay pulling too many amps and the circuit protection kicking in. Have to go back to the drawing board and see what else I can do.

Oh, that would way cool to have the Halos as DRLs.
I just bought the Eagle Eye headlights as wondering if this was possible myself!
