Which Camaro would you trade your 2012 ZL1 for?
This poll assumes you will own a 2012 ZL1 within the year and they don’t make a 2015 6th gen ZL1. What would cause you to trade in your ZL1 in 2014-2015 (out of the options listed above)? Feel free to add any comments or other options as necessary...
- 2014 ZL1 - 600HP; minor upgrades from 2012 model. - 2014 ZL1 - Track Pack Option: tires, carbon fiber bodywork (more aggressive and functional styling), carbon rotors - 2014 ZL1 – No change from 2012 except they offer it in your favorite paint color - 2015 SS – 6th Gen; Curb weight 3700 lbs with a 440HP V8 - 2014 Z28 – 500+ NA engine; 3800 lbs; ring and strip times slightly slower than ZL1 - I will never trade my 2012 ZL1!! |

Well, after buying ZL-1, I definately want to own Corvette C7 ZR-1 or Dodge Viper 5 Th Generation.
New Dodge Viper is under development right now, its estimated that it will feature 700 Hp V10 , Esp and luxurious interior. It has been co developing with Fiat/Ferrari. So new Viper will be such a bad ass car. I think it would go on sale in 2013 Q1. |

Honestly, I have wanted a street fighter Z-28 all along. By the parameters listed in the poll I can't say one way or other, there are too many variables with a looming body style change thrown in the mix. I will know when it is right for me when it comes. Visit the LSA LS7 FE4 Pedders thread on the Z28 board for more insight and discussion. The SAS has a moto.."who dares..wins". I believe in being decisive and always having a backup plan. I can't lose one way or another owning the ZL1. I could always make the move to a Z-28 when it is offered in an assembly line Chevy platform that meets my performance expections at a price that is within reach of an ordinary performance minded consumer. I believe we shall see that happen relatively soon.

Right now, a ZL1 because there is no Z28 even though chevy was suppose to call this one the Z28 or what was believed at the time. Anyhow, I would like if they wait till the new lighter platform is used before bring the Z28 back into the ring and if that is the case I would want a Z28. Specifically, a 2015 Z28 LS7 500+HP Dark Green with Tan Leather interior, T-tops (if optional), and nice brushed aluminum accents (factory or/ aftermarket). Hey, a guy can dream can he not especially here! Come on chevy!!! Bring back the Z28 for the more affordable performance.
