with my K&N intake, I routed some 3/8 inch vacuum hose under the fuel rail, and across the intake to the back side of the factory catch can. The hose that K&N gave me was literally like 4 inches too short.

You can see where I tucked it behind the fuel rail crossover and added 1 ziptie.

Can anyone provide specifics on HOW to remove the stock PCV hose from the stock airbox, so I can plug in the 1LE clean side can? The second post of this thread mentions "...directions detail how to remove PCV hose....." But I cant seem to find ANY copies of these directions anywhere.

Thanks in advance!

The stock GM lines all have a tab to move to the side and it will release from the barbs.

Here is our all 6061 T6 billet unit with coalescing media (the GM unit is empty and plastic) for app. 1/2 the price that can be used years round as it will not break if hard freeze occurs:

It is toward the end of the video. It is a universal GM style so easy to install.

Thanks for the video! Im pretty good on the typical GM quick connects....with the tabs to release to disconnect. However, the connector Im talking about is not the end on the engine, its the one that plugs into the intake resonator. The hose end is barbed.....and there is no obvious way I can see to compress/release the fitting in the resonator. It must be easy....as people do it all the time, but Id rather not booger it up yanking/turning/banging on it/etc

Here is a close-up of the hose fitting from the 1LE kit....its this hose I need to release

Well, I guess that was a dumb question on my part....upon looking at the fitting in greater detail, I figured it out...pops right out. WOW!

Lol.
