And while I haven't separated from my old company yet, I was offered a position with the new company and I am going to accept the offer...
I spoke with my current supervisor today at length... We both laughed about my company making a counter offer... But he is a good guy and I want to do right by him... He is checking on some possibilities, and knows I don't want to go to Nicaragua. It has nothing to do with the country or the work... If I go next week, as scheduled, then I'll only be there a week and they will have to fly me home to testify in court on their behalf... In this situation I will probably be a hostile witness... Wouldn't be the first time I was listed that way... But the butt turd suing is a redneck, claiming to be Hispanic and claiming we discriminated against him... He's more Anglo than I am... But anyway, my supervisor and I will figure out the separation from Diamond and I'm off to bigger and better things... Or at least different... No more back of the bus flights, some schedule flexibility... Etc...and a very lucrative offer indeed...
