My dealer said that they are building my car NEXT week Im so stoked and that it should be ready by the end of the month or beginng of August

. Only problem is I dont know how to read the status codes or where I can even find them. Does the dealer give them to you or is it something you can check online? I know you've all answered this countless times for newbies so I appreciate anyone that wouldnt mind telling one more

I was under the impression the plant is shutting down for vacation next week? Or is that this week? Post your order # and someone will look it up for you.

Lol dont shit on my parade, geez I hope not, hopefully it's this week, but either way they said it should be ready end of the month beginning of next since the orders are running about 10 days behind he said. Im totally fine with that, after reading some of the horror stories on here I was thinking it wouldnt be till next year till I'd get it!

I believe they are shutting down the week of the 13th, not next week.

I was told last Friday that the plant was shutting down this week, but would be increasing production when they return. I took this news with a grain of salt thinking that is was just "dealer speak" for 'don't call us again for two weeks or so'.
I would be interested to find out how to check my order status also, if someone in the know could do it, PM me please. I know I have a wait ahead of me but I'm dying here.

I believe it was the 6th through the 13th it is shutdown.

Your dealer should give your your event status code. Generally, only the sales manager has access to this at the dealer- NOT the salesman. That's why alot of people have had a hard time getting status reports- it's beneath the Sales manager to do so.
