Catch can for ZL1

Searched and could not find an exact answer. Do I need a catch can with the 3 lines for the ZL1 (one in and 2 exit ports)? Here is one I am considering:

If I need a can like this that has the 3 hoses, could someone please point to install instructions for this? Would anyone recommend any of the options on this can such as a special valve?

I have the cheap two port one from elite. It's good for me. Contact JDP Motorsports they gave me lots of great advice when I bought mine for the zl1.

You'll be surprised how much it grabs.

So the 2 port works for the ZL1? No need for a third port for the supercharger?

That is correct, however a dual valve (3 port) is better. Add to that a Clean side separator and now your covered!
Here is directions to install:

Your mounting may be different but the hook ups are the same.

If not running hard (WOT) then you can use the E2 or E2-X single valve (two fitting). If you run hard the dual valve is best as it gives added evacuation ability when needed the most at high boost. The LSA has it;s own cleanside separator, but it cannot be emptied and is only a empty plastic canister. Add the Elite cleanside for a better solution.

Do it it once, do it right, Elite Engineering USA.

Anyone know what's the reason for the clean side canister? If it can't be emptied it will empty itself once it's full just like a direct fitted tube would.

Just curious and always wondered. Doesn't make sense to me, but I guess GM has a reason and would cut the costs of they could this easy.
