AC shuts off at WOT, a DC compressor is required for a road course.

You do not want your current AC compressor running at WOT the pressure will go too high and destroy itself.

You need a DC compressor for circuit racing.

We are actually doing one over the next couple of weeks on a Chrysler 300c.

Z06 Bryan the BCM will override your ECU for trying to make it stay on.
As said if it does stay on you will destroy the compressor. Pressure will go so high that it will heat up the r134a.

Getting back in topic, the new ZL1 seems scary fast in the ring video. No way I would have the cajonies to drive that fast...or maybe I'm just getting too damn old.

Was just showing what the stock settings are? Yes, keeping the AC running at high rpm would be bad.

I think i read the 16SS already did 7:32?
I guess i'm wrong, because 3 secs faster than a SS isnt very exciting.

7:29 for a more powerful, lighter car doesnt really impress me, then again, 12s faster than the predecessor is not bad.

But, i dont like the 6.Gen, so it doesnt really matter anyway, it could go in 6 mins or 8 mins flat and i wouldn't care...
