Just for reference, the owner said the late model Mustang GTs put 230-232 down on his dyno in stock trim....

But guessing they had more torque... That's one thing people tend to over look... people simply look at HP ratings to judge performance... I know you know better than that... I just at people who think because they have 304 HP V6 means they can beat or run even with a 300 HP V8...

Yep, very true! Johnny said the torque was up around 245-250 on the GTs.... then there's the weight difference. But, we're getting closer! hehe!

New numbers

Ok, so I went and had a redo on a dynojet. I had the hood closed, using M4, airaid cai, and the MRT V2.

Had my baseline dyno done this weekend at FastLane. It was uncorrected and showed 230 HP and Torque of 214. 2LT RS A6 completely stock running good ole 87 octane.

Ok got my first dyno today. Have Injen CAI w/ IAT relocated by filter and Magnaflow axle back. My torque readings look good, but HP looks low. I didn't
notice until I got home that my engine speed only goes to around 5500. Now I'm wondering what gear they ran in. Guess I should have asked them, but didn't think about it at that time. they did say they ran in manual mode, but I didn't notice if they tap shift to a higher gear. Also my air/fuel looks low as well. Does any body have any thoughts?

So your saying the LS may have different tune Than the LT from the factory? Or is it because of the speed limiter is at 120 mph on the LS?

The speed limiter we believe is the issue.
