Stock engine on a Dynojet @ Hennessey

right at 1500 miles broke in the semi hard way.

9/26/2009
3:24 in the afternoon
95.90 degrees
29.81 in-Hg
Humidity 23%
SAE: 1.01

Max Power = 233.10
I don't know what the torque was, it wasn't given.

They had mine up to 155 and I never heard it hit the limiter.

K&N dyno'd mine when I brought it in for intake testing and the best run was 255 hp. First run, first thing in the morning when it was still cold. The car was stock at this point. My car is an automatic. Subsequent runs later in the day when it heated up were lower.

Oh, thank god...mine isn't the lowest anymore.

I really wanted to make it out to Hennessey's but couldn't. There was no way I was putting mine back on the dyno anyhow. I'll wait until we have a real cold front come through town (some time in January or February) and then try it again. The 95+ degree temps really seem to kill the V6 dyno numbers.

What exhaust system did you put on to gain 20hp?

While the dyno shows a 20 HP gain, it still only gets it in the ball park of everyone else that has done exhaust..

Here is my latest dyno from yesterday.. this is with an axle back and my separate IAT compared to 100% bone stock:

Ryan most certainly seen some gains from adding an exhaust, but I think his starting baseline was unusually low...

gibson did all the testing the dyno sheet is from them they said that there dyno runs low and that it should be more than that

300 RWHP... hmmmmm... Long tubes and high flow cats? or just shorties? I see you are in CA so I'm guessing just shorties? Adding 43 RWHP with stock cats and shorties... hmmmm..

Any track times yet?

i want long tubes the ones from another company were 33hp but high flow cats for shure i will swap back for smog and the intake was about 20 hp increase on the prototype still in the works + gibsons dyno reads low so i think i got it even with just shorties and a tune when possible
