Hyper Blue A10 Built 2/28 headed to Dallas is up for grabs
Hey guys I am about to have to break the news to my salesman that I have moved on to another ZL1. If anyone is interested in a fully loaded ZL1 with A10, Moonroof, PDR, Carbon Hood and Nav inbox me before I pull the deposit.
Should be at the dealer in a week or two! Cheers! |

Man...I am searching and searching, I see a few A10's on the way but none of them are the correct build, and when i say correct, I mean the only build that should be configured by dealers, that is:
any color (HBM for me) any transmission PDR Exposed hood NAV I see things like: PDR but no exposed Hood PDR, Exposed, but with sunroof PDR, no exposed, no sunroof WTH dealers...order the correct build!!! PDR, Exposed Hood, NAV -- PERIOD!! there's a reason why all the ZL1's sitting on the lot have a sunroof. Ok, so here's the thing on the sunroof, I think I would enjoy the sunroof when i'm in the car, but man it really takes away that sweet roofline, so not so much enjoyment from the outside, and at 900 bones...ehh, no thanks! I suppose if they threw it in for free I might go for it. |

It is a pain in the butt at the track in my '14, I have to lower the seat quite a bit to make room for the helmet, I think the car looks cool with it open, like having a wing on the roof lol

I have never paid attention to the roofline of the car until people began to discuss their dislike of sunroofs. Now that I see it, it doesn't change my love for the sunroof one bit. I am a short guy and I have no desire to race the car, ever in a road course or a straight line. I didn't see it as giving up something to get a sunroof. I think the car looks great either way. I think dealers think that most customers will not race these cars. I complain to dealers when I see a ZL1 that doesn't have Nav. I can understand why they add the moonroof though.

Sorry for the newbie question (never ordered a new car until now), how do you envision the details would work, i.e., your dealer agrees to literally change the buyer info. on the order? Does the pricing book get re-opened, or your original terms hold?, etc.

The car is being sold at MSRP. I would connect you with the salesman personally to avoid someone else taking the car once I withdraw the deposit. They are willing to do supplier pricing so there is savings to be had. The car is $68,930.00

I'm with you that Google maps is nice, but IMO, it does not 100% replace in dash NAV. I will say that at this point in navigation's history, it should simply be a standard option. |

I agree with this also because Nav technology moves so fast. Nav units in cars made 4 years ago look dated now. My 2013 M5 Nav is nowhere near as effective as my phone. Took a ride in my buddies 2010 ZR1 the other day...the nav is laughable...looks like a Speak and Spell toy from the 80's
