Procharger install/sale info in OC or IE?

Hi everyone,

I just picked up my Black 2SS today and I was just wondering if anyone could recommend a good shop for installing a Procharger kit? I live in OC, but would be willing to drive up to an hour away if need be. I would be interested in buying from them too if the price is right, but more interested in a quality shop that is reasonably priced that does clean work and can tune it properly. I'm still breakin' her in so this isn't something I'm looking at doing tomorrow, but would just like to start gathering as much information as I can so when I'm ready I will have all my ducks in a row.

What can I expect for the cost of the install and tune? I was thinking $1000, but I might be way off. I had a Whipple charger put on my truck about 7 years ago, but it didn't have an intercooler and didn't require tuning. That cost only $500 and the shop did a good job, but ended up being more than they expected.

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide, I really appreciate it.

-Chris

Around $1500 for an install and tune is a good round number.

I just had a Vortech installed on my car and love it. It's similar to the procharger, but I perfer the Vortech unit and the way they get the air intake around and up front by the grille. The procharger air intake is straight back to the fire wall where all the heat from the eng/exhaust manifolds will collect.

Spoke with Mike at Haddad today and all I can say is thank you for recommending him and Mike, thank you for all of your time today in educating me on my different options. I really appreciate you taking all that time discussing all of the pros and cons of the different power options. I think I'll be going a different than the Procharger now. Now I just need to find the funds to do it.

thanks again,

-Chris
