Here is another tip. If you use back to black on the plastic 1st, then if you accidentally get wax on the plastic, I won't stick to it.

I use Turtle Wax Ice. It does not leave a white residue on black plastic. I use on my matte black stripes and it leaves a nice sheen without white residue.

I used Mothers three Jeeps ago. I still use it. I tried other brands but always go back. Jeeps have a lot of stuff that will turn gray if you don't keep it treated.
Here's my current Jeep. Bumpers, door handles, mirrors, etc.
I have not found any spray products that will beat it.
Yes I use Ice as well.

I had the same problem and had a smudge wax was stuck to my rear diffuser for like 6 months. I asked the people at the car wash if they had any tips and didn't have any advice. I tried using an eraser too, but in the end I used armor all wet wipes that I keep in my trunk and it cleaned up nicely.

Good info here and thanks! Just picked up some back to black for the ZL1 trim and it worked great!

Problem with armor all & back to black, is you have to keep applying, otherwise it greys out the black. It is best to mask with blue painter's tape. It's easy on & easy off, the roll will last a few yrs and is cheap.

Wax on, whacks off.

Next, paint the fence.

Anything with oil just hides it, it doesn't remove it, the big pink erasers work like a champ!
