Fuse? Maybe the connector behind it fell off?

I would suggest going to the dealership if the issue continues. We apologize for the frustrations. Brandon Chevrolet Customer Service

I cant take it to my dealer because the first time I was taking out that piece I pinched the wire and it ended up getting cut so I had to splice it back together and, im sure thats what they will tell me is the problem. It has worked fine up until this morning. its been spliced together for a couple of months. I checked the splice, its fine.

I dont have a voltmeter, and yeah I use a crimp connector then put heat shrink tubing over it. I wonder if I could just run a new wire from the harness. how hard is it? I have 12 gauge wire and the factory wire is 14 gauge..will it work?

You can go up on wire guage without a problem. If you don't have a voltmeter, an inexpensive 12volt test light available at an auto parts place would work.

It was the biggest PITA trying to change those wires so I ordered a whole new factory outlet with a pigtail, when i hooked it up it still didn't work the one in the center console works though...Help please! Where are the fuses so I can make sure I checked the right ones?
