I planned on getting a new aftermarket system after I purchased my Camaro. I'm happy enough with the standard system that I'm going to leave it. It sounds just fine to me, and people riding with me have commented on it as well.

The BA system has much better clarity and clearer sound. All its lacking is in the bass department. But I have subs in the garage ready to fix that. A BA system with an aftermarket sub is a very good system.

Ex Car stereo Legend here .... I think that if you do not want to upgrade and you like loud and clear then the BA is worth the cash ... if you are an upgrade type save the money and put it into the upgrade budget. I only added an 8" sub to the BA and a cap on the mids to roll off some more of the low end from the doors and I will not need anything else... Which is a new concept as I have always spent lots of $$$ on my sound. Not something I feel I have to do in this car.

I like to hear that. I have spend over 3k for the system in my yukon. I have only listened to the camaro sound system on test drives. But from what I have heard, its a very very good for a stock system, much better than the blows gm uses in their other vehicles.

standard sounds fine, especially if you plan on upgrading later on..think you have to have the LT model for the BA upgrade..

I got it, I love it! Might not ever need to add an aftermarket sub and amp!

I have the Boston System upgrade in my Jeep Commander and love it.
Can't wait to hear it in my Camaro, roll on July!

Question tho, is the CD player a one disc or six disc player?

I'll use my iPhone more than anything, but it's always nice to have back up MP3 CDs!

WELL worth the $$$ The Boston system is great. AND I have owned/installed very high-end systems for 20+ years. I have $2k worth of stuff from last car thats NOT going into my Camaro, its heavy enough as it is. GET THE BOSTON.

I call shenanigans!!! if you have truly installed HIGH end systems you would never have said keep (or buy) BA system. 2K in "HIGH END" might barely cover the wiring or Damping and Acoustical treatments.

The BA system... amp is puny at best, low unclean power, the speakers are NOT up to par for an "upgraded" audio system there is no subwoofer, the amp clips and the speakers distort easily.
