So they are app. the same as your 3 1/2" tips. I don't think they would make much diff. if any in drone in the cabin.

The 4" Tips sure look GREAT !

I think the drone would have to be the difference between their small mufflers as compared to your small Aero Turbine A25 RESONATORS.

BTW has your shop got the A25's yet ?

the stock pipes are 2.25" and SLP supplies an adapter pipe from 2.25" to 2.5" . then the muffler is all 2.5" and the tips are 4" OD and 2.5" ID.

Can anyone tell me if the slp powerflow exhaust is quieter than the loud mouth 2?
I heard camaro guys exhaust but from his post I'd like mine alittle quieter.
Thanks for any help.

Powerflo - slightly agressive, loud
Loud Mouth II - agressive, louder
Loud Mouth - very agressive, loudest

hmmmmm. I can't say there is NO droning.... cuz there is a little (compared to stock, for obvious reasons.... but thats if you hit the gas to accelerate... if you just keep your foot on the gas constant/cruise control, its not bad at all...

I can see how some people would think its annoying.... but for scrming and myself, its not annoying, its a good sound.

Its a very unique sound. not ricey. not a V8. just simply put, a good sound: I can't really put it into words that well... but its got a rumble to it... and def makes people turn heads looking for a beast coming down the road, vs a Civic with exhaust.... ?

thanks for the feedback!

I just get nervous when people ask me about the sound, because it like you said we are all different and what might not be annoying to me may very well be annoying to you...

but I've had a number of friends out behind the wheel of my car and none of them have found it annoying... In fact I've gotten nothing but positive feedback from people that have heard my setup in person...

I'm Looking for a slightly deeper sound, and to get rid of the big heavy mufflers hanging in back. I don;t want loud or ricy and to try to keep the drone down as much as possible. It sounds like the powerflo should do the trick.
thanks again

scrming,

After looking at the AR25's online I really wonder what this would sound like with the 2525 mufflers. They're 6" longer and 2" wider. I wonder how they would compare.

Personally, I love the sound of your car, but not sure my wife would be okay with the cabin noise under throttle. Since she'll be driving the car too, it's a consideration.

I think the SLP powerflo is a MUCH quieter than the loud mouth 2. ( too quite for me )
You can go on the SLP site and hear all 3 types for yourself.

97one thanks

I've had the loud exhausts before I don't wont another one.
I did go and listen to the lm 2 and the powerflo, they both sound good. but I think I would go for the powerflo. I listened to scrmings exhaust again also which I like and its less money. May be I need to go down to my local muffler shop and talk to them first. 700 bucks for an axle back is a little high.
thanks
Ron

IIRC, they really wouldn't fit very well... i think we held one up decided just no easy way to get it in there...

If you like the powerflo (not very loud) and want to save money then you should ck. out the Magnaflow #16584. It sounds like the powerflo.( Too quite for me.) You can get it with a very good discount, NOT just 10% like the SLP's

I made a post explaining the differance between the SLP & the MAGNAFLOW systems. ... If you can't find my post of App. 3 wks ago-- PM me and I will get it for you.
