Man those factory wheels look awesome chromed. I paid an extra $540 for polished and they look pathetic compared to the chromed.

Those hash stripes are awesome looking. Glad you put them back on.

Now...surprised you still haven't posted pix of the awesome interior panels and work that lupe did with the interior parts!

Gotta love ABM, nice work! Can we see a close up of the Brake Calipers painted aqua blue metallic?

Haha, thanks! I had the midnight silver wheels and they just weren't doing it for me. I love the chrome!

Thanks! I'll see if I can get some close up shots when I get it back from the dealership (having brake squeaks and vibrations looked at). The calipers looked great at first...the paint has chipped a little bit, but the G2 kit came with a lifetime warranty, all I gotta do is send them pics and they should send me a new kit.

Nice write up. I agree, wheels look good. How is the Hotchkis kit working out for you (pros -n- cons)? Felt the same way about ABM by the way....

Hey CRUZN, haven't heard from you since the fest man! The hotchkis is great...the 1" drop was plenty for me - not so much that I can't drive anywhere without worrying about scraping, but just enough to take away the fender gap and give it a nice, tight ride. The sway bars are great, and the end links will go on in the next couple weeks (didn't have them when I was doing the rest of the suspension), as well as the strut tower brace. I wish I coulda gotten a coil over kit, but in the short term, the hotchkis kit is great.

On a side note, got the car back from the dealer this afternoon...needs a set of pads. Buttttttttt...there's no way I'm doing pads and leaving the rotors. Soooooo, tomorrow I'll be working on getting my hands on some StopTech cross drilled rotors and Hawk pads with stainless lines. May as well do it all at once!

Thanks for info. Looking at Hotchkis upgrade before C5FESTIII. New grill & spoiler from Gary's Customs should be here soon. So many options out now vs 2 years ago. Hope to see you at Indy. Will post updated pics after install.

I know, I know...took a while. This build thread is slowly but surely coming together.

Next thing to come is PowerSlot slotted rotors, Hawk HPS pads, stainless steel lines, and DOT 4 fluid. That outta make her stop on a Penny....err, dime...

I heard the same...

Mike, I apologize for the conversation earlier, Debbie and I had just received out dinner and it was really hard to hear...

I hope it's nothing major, and I'm glad you still have the full warranties...

I'll see you this evening...
