Hey Guys and/or girls , I just joined the forum and think it's great. I also belong to the Canadian Events section of the corvette forum, and the two are set up the same way.

Any G.T.A., Ontario folks here? I'm sure glad the Camaro is coming back, even though I never owned one (yet ) , but it's part of the Chevy history, and it must carry on.

I check out the Generation 5 section a lot, for obvious reasons, but will check this section out too.

I once lived in Mississauga, and I guess you laid down some roots in Oshawa, so you must be proud that the Camaro is being built there.

I love the fact that its getting built in Oshawa, but I don't care much for the city. The GM plants there are top notch though. And GM of Canada helped buy a bunch of toys for my education (engineering). The engines are being built in St Catherines, probably trany's too. Thats even closer to home for me. But the really cool thing will be seeing trucks with Camaros driving by trucks with Challengers and Chargers on the QEW! I'm gonna have to have my camera ready for that day.

Please do, and you'll have to post the pics.

Lol I agree, I must say Oshowa isn't a very exciting city, probably the best thing to look at there would be the GM plant! haha

Welcome, even thought im newer then you are! ha

Welcome to C5 Frank.
OK, not sure why this thread, from 2008, got regenerated, now I'm confused
I can't believe it's been 4 and a half years already. Sure met a lot of people over the years, and glad to say, have stayed in touch with them, one way or another, and I'm sure there will be more to come.

guys & C5
