V-8 Engine Cover

I did a search but couldn't find the answer. Is it more difficult to keep the engine clean with the engine cover versus not getting the engine cover?

I took mine off for two weekes while I painted it. I noticed a lot more dust than usual under the hood.

Are you wondering if you should get an engine cover when you order your Camaro?
The Camaros all come with an engine cover. They all come with a standard color of silver. The optional cover is painted the same as your car color.

I custom painted my engine cover. WHen I opened the hood two weeks later, I noticed a lot of dust on the intake area. Nothing severe, but definitely noticeable.

I didn't realize it came with the cover! I was thinking about getting one, now I just have to decide if I want it painted.

Thanks!
