That is just horrible. I hate seeing things like this. How can people be so inconsiderate? I'm afraid to park my car any where. If that happened in front of your house, that is even worse. I hope you were able to get it fixed and everything is ok now. Sometimes you just want to say PEOPLE SUCK.

Yes I have a garage, however, the '69 possess one side of it and my wife has her IS250 in the other half. That leaves the driveway for my '10 Camaro and the 'Wing. It happened overnight, in the driveway. It appears to have been a BB/pellet gun used. The glass did shatter, however, the tint held it all together.

I was a little (very little) relieved to find out that 9 other cars at this end of town were hit as well - meaning they weren't 'targeting' my car. Still pissed, just glad that I was a random victim.

I told all the guys at the PD that there is a steak dinner on me at their favorite restaurant if they catch/convict the little turds!!

Paul
Glad you didn't get "singled" out.
Good idea with the steak dinner. A little incentive ALWAYS helps!

Good news (if there is any to be had in this whole thing). Insurance is stepping right up to the plate. I will have to pay my $120 deductible but they are covering the tinting as well as the glass.

The glass shop says they will have a new window here Monday morning and my tint guy is excited because he gets to tint this one "out of the car" instead of fighting with it installed.

Sooooooooo....... should be as good as new by Wednesday or Thursday this next week!

Now I just need a little quality time with the little turd

Paul

PS. as far as 'Camaro parking only in the garage', I'm sure you've heard the saying "If momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy!" It's true!

You should seriously consider putting security cameras up and have the DVR
recorder,I know it is not cheap but well worth the cost just to catch F***Heads that do crap like that

That sucks bad.I am so happy I built my garage with 4 stalls.
Maybe you could order the window already tinted and not use the film

I would love to sell this place (5 bedroom and 2 car garage) and build a new place (5 car garage and 2 bedroom) since the kids are gone now, but land has gotten too darned expensive. I don't want to start over on a mortgage - I'm hoping to retire in three years.

I don't think you can get it as dark as 20% tint, which is what I am having done. Also, the tint held it all together so the mess inside the car isn't as bad as it could have been
Security camera - possibly. I was thinking more along the line of sleeping in the car with my .45 H&K. I don't think the idiot would feel so cool coming to a gun fight with a BB gun against a .45 (don't worry folks - I wouldn't REALLY shoot anyone over a car!).

What a flipping D-Bag.

My older brother lived in a crappy neighborhood at one point, and someone slashed all four of his tires and shattered his wind shield...was a Taurus, not a Camaro, but still...
