zl1 spoiler

looking into a zl1 spoiler for my 2010. where's the best place to get one? i see them on ebay for $120 painted, are those any good?

i'm also reading that the ones on ebay leave holes exposed in the trunk lid. is there a specific version that utilizes all the holes or at least painted caps i can get to plug them?

I have one from ebay, its just like the OEM brand, fits great, but if your trunk has a stock spoiler on it, the 2 holes in the middle will show reguardless, its just the way the ZL-1 spoiler is built. You would need to plug those 2 holes (looks tacky) or find a new spoiler = /

i have a 2SS/RS so i'm assuming i have the "stock" spoiler :/

yes you have the stock spoiler and you will have those two holes. I bought one of the ebay spoilers and it looks and fits great. No problems. Now i didn't have a spoiler on my so I don't have the holes but when my brother bought his he had the stock spoiler and now he has the two holes but his car is black and you really cant see it. He is even thinking after he gets his carbon fiber stripes put on he is going to have then put a piece over the holes just to hide it. The way the spoiler fits there is just a little bit of area there under the light on the spoiler that is exposed and thats where the holes are.

Check and see if you have the 2010 spoiler paint chip issue GM issued a TSB on this back in 2011 it called for a re-paint of the trunk lid my dealership re-painted mine and filled in the holes for me under the TSB.

Also, does anyone have any pictures of the holes? Just So I can get an idea of how creative I'd need to get

All ZL1 spoilers will leave the same holes exposed. It's not just the eBay ones. There are several threads on here about the eBay ZL1 spoilers with posts from those who have them. Big thing is you can't beat the price pre-painted and everyone who has them seems to love them.

I Love my EBAY ZL1 Spoiler. Let me tell you it gets packed really nice, IMO they get them from the same place GM gets them. The color match is perfect, the lights are super bright, they are OEM IMO. They are Boxed and wrapped so perfectly. Just make sure that they have your color. Some sellers let you choose the any color and some are selling a spoiler with one specific color. I bought mine for $155 shipped, it came in 3 days. Check out the painted rear window spoilers, I have one of those too. Don't sweat the 3/Three holes under the light.

I have a victory red eBay ZL1 spoiler for sale that I just took off my 2010 SS. I'll even throw in 2 black plugs to cover the holes in the lid and the plug n play wiring harness for the break light. Break light has the bigworm tint on it already too. PM me if interested

as much as i would like to take you up on that, i'd prefer to just get a pre-painted one in black so i dont have to worry about having it repainted. i appreciate it though
