Thumbs up Monte Carlo

I miss the Monte Carlo's that GM used to build. The later models were awesome with 303 horses. I know it's a FWD V8 car, but still a very nice car. The interior was roomy and classy.
I had a 2001 Monte Carlo SS, with 200 horses, V6 that was my daily driver and LOVED that car. Almost regret trading it in now. I wish GM would bring that bad bay back!!

Chances of the Monte Carlo ever coming back are slim to none...

I used to have an '82 MC...it had an anemic V6, but it had a great ride and t-tops....

Good looking car, nice ride, comfortable....with a little more power, that car would have been one of the best I've ever had.

I loved the Monte Carlo. I wish GM would bring it back...but they'd rather build POS Impalas.

You all wish for a lot of things but never take the time to wonder whether or not it's financially feasible to do so.

No, I never take the time to think of that...I got a Master's Degree and I'm nearly 47...but I never take the time to consider the financial aspects of things...especially the impact of rebadging something that nobody really wants...like the Impala. Nope, never gave it a thought.

Please tell me what the Impala is a rebadge of, because I would love to know.

And over 20,000 people proved you wrong just last month.

No, they just "proved" that they have bad taste and don't mind cheap, slapped together parts-bin cars is all they "proved". Cars like the Impala won't help GM gain more buyers going forward.

Haha okay, you keep telling yourself that.

Still waiting to find out which car the Impala is a rebadge of.

I really missed my 2002 Monte Carlo SS with the High Sport Appearance package. I sold it in November of 2008 in anticipation for the Camaro. I should have held onto it. I only got $9500 for it from Carmax. Granted all that money went towards my down on my Camaro, but man I miss my Monte..great ride! When I sold it, it only had $42k miles on it. I was the original owner. BTW, these pics here were taken the night before I sold her. She was clean!!!
