Opinions... True Forged Victory Wheels

I Like em alot, just need to talk to the wife and then place the order...

These will be my mile run wheels, and probably my daily driving wheels...

Shod with Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar G:2's...

305/35ZR20's in the rear on 11 X 20 inch wheels, and 285/35ZR20's in the front on 10 X 20 inch wheels...

Two piece forged wheels... welded, not bolted, lighter than factory, and substantially stronger...

I really like the deep dish on those, my kind of style! What depth are the lips by the way?

Get the vector from them without the rivets all around the face, they are a pita to clean!

The dish wont be that deep on the Camaro due to the offset.. That's a representative pic..

i looked at the Vectors but prefer these... I've always liked the rivet/bolted look... i know they are a pain in the butt; but I'll deal with it... and come back here in a year and say you told me so... lol...

I like the wheels a lot.

I'm not a fan of the bolts showing... but aside from that those are real nice

I love that look.

Forgeline also makes a wheel that looks a lot like that. Have you looked at Forgeline wheels?

Thanks Tim,

I will continue to be safe, but it certainly doesn't appear I'm going anywhere anytime soon.

I showered and packed this am for a helicopter ride off the rig, and lo and behold I get a phone call from the office that..."oh, we messed up, no one is coming out there so you get to stay"...

It appears that they arranged to demote and remove my relief to another rig as a night hand, and in the process, they neglected to arrange for anyone to replace him.

I find out half way through shaving to go home... or at least to the deposition in New Orleans.

Another caveat to this is that BP has this ignorant class called the License to go offshore class, that is absolutely mandatory to fly on their helicopters or work on their rigs... This 6 hour video class is being given to guys who have worked out here for years and years... It's basic remedial stupidity... and since no one was set up to relieve me, guess what, no one has taken this class either... so there is no telling when they will get someone, get them into the class, and then out here.

****ing pissed is a huge understatement... since the one that apparently screwed the pooch is the same one that told me right before he left the rig that he would not be available by phone or e-mail until after Christmas... go figure...

And I have an e-mail here where I was basically threatened if I didn't get the trainees out here helping to run the stack off the rig before Christmas... Running the stack from start to finish is the single most busy time we can experience... 36-48 hours testing, then 12-24 hours stacking it up and further testing, then running riser lowering the stack to the sea floor, and another round of testing... but damnit, they better be off the rig before Christmas... I can't win for losing...

Came over to this rig to help them out, took a pay cut I was promised would not happen, and then this...

Wow on top of missing Christmas & New Years with the family! That really just bites the big one! Sounds like some of these we had to take in Alaska?? ( Offshore health certificate, Basic safety and emergency preparedness course, Together for Safety, SJA and WP course)?

I can only hope things get better for you R, praying for a safe return to the real world!

Visiting personnel: “All personnel who are not offshore workers and whose offshore visits have been approved in advance by the operating company.” By default, all personnel are defined as “offshore workers”. Personnel defined as “visitors” will have special roles (e.g. politicians, actors, etc). BLAH BLAH BLAH

So sorry to hear this brotha. I'd be willing to bet that the guy who screwed the pooch and isn't available until after Christmas is going to wish he hadn't been available for a long time when you get a hold of him...
