PTS-Perry Price - BUYER BEWARE
I did not want to post this but Perry Price at PTS leaves me no option.
I placed an order with Perry Price at PTS back on December 14th for a set of Nutek wheels.. I sent him a downpayment of $2350 through PayPal. Of course he promised before I sent him payment constant communication but after payment he basically dropped the ball. On Feb 10th he informed me he was going to cancel the order due to 'problems with Nutek' and said he would be refunding my money. Great! I thought at the time.. On Feb 18th he again told me he was going to refund my money on the following Tuesday.. I was even nice enough and told him to keep a small amount of the money for his troubles.. Well that day came and went with no contact. I have called, pm'd and now made a claim on the PayPal transaction. Perry Price at PTS is no where to be found on C5 or by phone. I contacted Nutek and the guy that made the rendering of the wheels I wanted tells me that Nutek never started building the wheels b/c Perry Price never received a downpayment.. This is really neither here nor there but I now believe Perry Price took my money and never placed the order. At this time, with him offering no communication, I can only conclude that Perry Price at PTS is a liar and a thief and has stolen my $2350. This really sucks considering he was a vendor on this great C5 forum we have here for fun. Any words of advice on how to go forward with this would be welcome.. I'm pretty certain I am going to chase him all around the internets to his other forums.. If paypal does not work I believe I will file suit in small claims court.. I really have no trouble spending much more money to recover this just for the principal of the deal.. Last edited by Treefrog; 03-26-2012 at 03:55 AM. Reason: New info |

Wow! I almost bought a set of COR wheels from him. He seemed very nice? I hope this is all just a misunderstanding.
PM Sean @ WSI, he is a great guy and knows Perry, maybe he can help you? |

Sounds like he did what "shifty" contractors do.....
Took your money to pay for someone else's order and the lack of follow up orders to pay for yours has caught up with him.....so he goes into hiding. |

Hate to hear that. I've dealt with Perry before and he was great. Hope you can get things straightened out.

Give him your business (Sean @ WSI). NO ONE on this board can compete with his pricing. I got quotes from them all.

I'm sure Perry will appear before too long and explain himself. If he cares about his reputation on this and many other boards that is.....

We've heard just one side of the story here, but it's not looking too good for Perry
