Black Wheels Available??

When you build the Camaro on the website, the standard 2SS wheels look black? Aren't they to be painted silver? I really want the stock wheels in black for my black 2SS.

Just curious - I have seen some folks say they have chose the "midnight black" wheels. Not sure what that is?

I know you can add the optional wheels on the sight for almost $5k.
I was planning on having a wheel shop here in town paint or powder coat the factory wheels black.

There are "midnight silver" wheels, which you get when you choose the RS package. Note that these are not nearly as dark as they look on the website though. Look at some actual pics of it... they are actually really nice-looking. Or you can get the 21" black like you mentioned. Besides the base wheels on the LS, those are the only black ones I'm aware of...

Midnight isn't black, the site makes them look black, which may cause some problems with the average joe that arent part of a Camaro site. GM should adjust the midnight silver tires to not look black.

When I showed my co-workers the RS wheels that are Midnight silver they looked black and I had to tell them they aren't. There are photos on the forum showing the polished wheels and the painted midnight ones, so you can tell the difference. Midnight is more like a dark grey.

The midnight silver rims are more of a "pewter" color. Definitely not black...even though the "Build" section of the Camaro site makes them look black.

I can't figure out why the LS, bottom rung of the ladder, has black wheels. I would think they would be optional or for a higher end model, as they give kind of a performance look to the car.

It would have been REALLY nice to be able to get some black powder coated rims from the factory for my SS.
