LSA tuning day TODAY

The last two months have been a lot of work on my 2011 Camaro SS.

Started with the 3:91 gear swap, and urethane sub frame bushings. Swapping out the SS pump for a ZL1 unit at the same time, along with a ADM FPCM. Once done I tested that a couple of times and began installing my LSA conversion. I bought the used ADM kit from another C5 member. Adding some ID 850s and wire harness extensions from ADM along the way.

I've been in no hurry, I work a lot of hours but she's finally all ready and a Tuner by the name of Shane Hinds is on his way out to put the finishing touches that I just can't do to her. It should be a great day!!!

Whew! LSA + 3.91 = increase your tire fund.

Good luck. She will be a beast. Shane has these things figured out.

3.91's with this blower make for a lot of fun. But unless you have a drag radial, it's like driving on ice the second you give it even the smallest amount of throttle hah

That's why I never changed the gears in the rear.

Well it runs like an absolute beast, the clutch however is the first victim!

My plan was clutch and driveshaft over the winter, then drag radial NT05 or the like. Axle shafts if needed. However It appears the clutch will require immediate attention.

not to hijack the thread but has anyone gone from 3.91 to 3.45 for blower use?

I believe Hammdo had 3.91s at one time and went to 3.45s.

Yep, sure did, 3.91s with my A6 was just too much. Drove it a week that way and just crazy. 1st and 2nd were really useless, just give it a bit too much gas and spin city. Cloud of smoke is cool, but those damn tires cost too much. Even with drag radials, my combo was just too much. Some may do good with it, but ADM and just about every one else said 3:45s. That's what I did, and I'm glad...

Still get 20+ mpg, if I stay out of the gas...

Yeah I can still get 22-24mpg on 91 on the freeway.
16-17mpg on E85

Love this setup. Rips through the gears when I want to.
