Camaro Confessions

I've been thinking about a thread like this for a while. I'll start. I open my girlfriend's door every time she gets in and out of the car to make sure she doesn't hit the door against anything for scuff the floor board with her feet. She hinted once at my motives, but I brushed it off. She thinks it's because I'm being nice, but it's for the Camaro's benefit.

What else do you all do?

I'll admit that I get momma to exit first from the passenger side and she comes around and opens my door, standing between it and the car next too us, so that I don't bump the door into them. Sometimes its a little tight quarters for momma and she's brusied her hip and thigh a time or three. She's working on that issue and if all goes as planned she'll be down a dress size or two in a month or so. Heck it was only a few weeks ago that she was still on her walker and it was taking her 20 minutes on a dry day 30 on a rainy day just to get herself out of her side before she could scoot around the car to my side. I'm patent though and cut her as much slack as I can....................its the least I can do and if momma's not happy, no one gets help.

I back into my garage (next to my wife's suv) so that even if she or the kids bust open the suv doors all the way, they won't touch my CAMARO.

But I told my wife and kids exactly why I was doing it, and eventhough, by parking this way they can not hit my car, I still remind my kids EVERY time they get in or out of the suv "Be careful with Daddy's car". They always say . . . "WE KNOW DADDY".

Like momma says " Theres nothing like a little humor to end the 9 till 5 grind". Of course she was referring to the time it takes her to limp to the closest gas station when-ever Caspers gas needle drops to the E. I was under the impression the E meant extra distance. Those hip replacement joints are noisy as hell as they swell in the heat of a hot summer day hobbling up hill. Momma never complains about coming back, so long its down hill. I suppose a full ten gallon gas can, can get awefully heavy. She just told me the other day that she looks forwards to cooler weather. Me too, she'll have a little E.....xtra wiggle in her jiggle as those joints loosen back up..........Ya gotta love Momma..

I have a 2 car garage.... cleared/cleaned out solely for the Camaro... I STILL stop outside the garage for my wife and/or daughter to get in/out... just in case!

11.5 months and STILL door-ding free!

I hope you remind them WHENEVER they exit the CAR to becareful for the CAR nextdoor. Maybe we can breed a NEW Generation that actually CARES about the CAR next to them.

I would always tell my g.f WATCH OUT FOR THE CURB. What does she do? Open the door and hit it anyway
