Here's an example, your wife has been known your best friend for years. So you don't think twice about going out of town for the weekend. Then you come home early and find them in your bed.

You didn't see it coming, why? Because he was your best friend, you TRUSTED him so the thought of him tossing the sheets with your wife didn't even pop into your head. But now you know, and in the future you're going to make sure an adult stays with her while your away.
Sorry about your situation bro, but what a wonderful analogy

Just found a copy of WagonWork's "lifetime" warranty online. Can you say loopholes? How can you have undamaged factory finish when you take your car to WagonWork for BODY repairs?!

It happens all the time at the dealership.
Maybe at the dealership if your cars wrecked and they tow it there. I've had to wait on ins. adjusters twice. Other times for quick cosmetics like bangs bruises or scratches I've just waited there.
Whatever the case the poor OP most assuredly has a new case with his insurance co. for new damage.
Best of luck to you and heres hoping your beast will be damage free for many moons.

Thank you much. I've had two Geico adjusters give me estimates already, did that back in March. But Geico needs to see the shop's estimate before they will approve supplemental funds.

If you never actually signed a release of any sort other than to have them give you an estimate, they have absolutely NO arguement in court. Gieco should at least step in if they are a "Certified"/ "Recommended" (or whatever they call their network) shop.

Best of luck to handling it and keep us posted.
That sucks ! Wish you the best . SHUT EM' DOWN ! SHUT EM' DOWN !!!!.

That sucks that they did that, and Tommy sounds like a real dick.

Being that they are owned by Pohanka hopefully you can get it resolved. It took a month to get my deck lid fixed properly but after involving the shop Manager and Service Department manager I eventually got it fixed right.

Man, so rough going through this thread without getting upset. I hate when things go wrong and nobody owns up to it. Did people forget that it's ok to mess up if you own up to it and create a solution to fix it (most times). So frustrating, I'm very sorry this happened to you. I'm happy that you have been proactive to ensure they feel the pains until they do the right thing. Dont give up, I don't see these guys beating you at your game. It's obvious you are and IT guy (at least decent enough to follow IP associations) with some common logic, those guys can't even see past the ALL CAPS button. Keep up the exposure of all their "wise tricks".

For those C5'ers that lack compassion to this matter and feel the need to add unconstructive comments, save it for the OT threads.

I hope this comes around to work itself out, Stieger.
