I've avoided reading this thread because I read the title and thought 'you gotta be kidding'. Now that I'm done reading it, I feel slightly nauseous and I think I have the runs.

I think I'm going to develop a random 'vs' generator where I just take every car off the R&T/CD/MT test library and put it in the database. Then you click the <random> button and a new thread will appear "Camaro SS vs Insert Random Late Model Vehicle Here. Then we can invent some racing encounters claiming the Camaro won and then fill in all of the test stats over the next 2 to 3 pages and then a mod can come close it.

OP, I don't mean to sound hostile if you were sincere- but really?

Yea, cross shopping an AMG vs a chevy half it's price.

Either way, wanna bench race? Go ahead. The AMG would STOMP even an SS MT.

Not to mention that afterward, it would STILL ride better, offer tons more amenities, have 10x nicer interior . . .

Hey OP, shouldn't you consider a Veyron and maybe an original Corvette Grand Sport or at least original L88 while you're at it?
