Really dont feel like paying for something that was not my fault. Please let me know if you too have lost one of these covers. Thanks
Wow
Same thing happened to me It was, of all days the fourth of July around 2 in the afternoon.
My tonneau flew off as I making my way to get onto the highway
I circled back and found nothing
The following day I immediately called my dealer
He said call GM customer service
I did and I'm still waiting for their reply
Hopefully it'll be covered under warranty

So we raised and lowered my top a few times and noticed that the drivers side touched down before the passengers. So my dad took my car in today and they adjusted the top (at the Ok of GM) and now my top is sitting low in the compartment, and my tonneau is flush with my car. WOOT WOOT. Took the car for a drive tonight and maybe went a little over the avg speed and the top just sat there. PERFECT!!!!!

They get screwed into holes in the trunk facing side of the back seat. They should have come in your tonneau cover in a little bag, there were instructions in mine, but I just took it over to the dealer, they actually are supposed to install them on pre-delivery inspection.

Only the 2LT and 2SS come with the cover. Mine is 2LT and I normally cover the top when I drive on the highway with the top down. It probably doesn't hurt it, but I don't like how much it flutters in the wind uncovered at highway speeds.

I get a little fluttering or slight lifting during high crosswinds or passing high profile semi trucks at freeway speed limits. Has not come off though.
I had the first version with the clips replaced the vinyl was coming unglued along the hard plastic sides. I now have the elastic corded one replaced under warranty and use a towel between it and the top. Tuck in all sides .
Mine was built 2/28/11
