Glad to see all went well. Can't wait to do mine in a few weeks, I'll post a pic of my brake fluid when I pull it out and you can tell me if it was darker than yours or not. Mine looks like hell.

I emptied mine into a dr pepper bottle and took a pic next to another bottle. The car has 11000 miles on it and I'm sure the fluid has never been changed. Can you tell which bottle has dr pepper in it and which has brake fluid?

The one on the right is dr pepper

Thats just how mine looks too, 21k on my ride, and as you said I'm sure it's never been changed. That will be taken care of very soon.

Hello all. Everyone's clutch reservoir looks great! I actually took it one step further and just got a billet one with a cap from some guy in Australia and it perfectly matches my black and silver muted underhood theme...

from post #405

I went to NAPA and bought 660-1698 bypass caps. They are EPDM.

Man....that's real nice. How much was it and do you have any info to post up about it?

Nice how it says to use DOT4.

I think everyone's reservoir is cool because they actually allow your clutch system to work properly.

Billet aluminum parts are awesome, but not practical for every single automobile part, for me being able to see the fluid through the reservoir is an added bonus one quick glance and I can see what colour it is.

After several weeks of driving vehicle the fluid is just as clear as it was from day1, so I'd say there is definitely an issue with sharing it with the braking system.
