V6 aftermarket exhaust help

I have a 2014 v6 camaro. I just installed my CAI and am wanting to invest in a after market exhaust after I purchase my short throw shifter. I have read several threads about exhaust and i'm still on the fence. My questions are:

What type of exhaust do I need if I want some performance upgrade and nice sound?
Good name brands to look into?
Finally, Should I get the exhuast setup or just Hi Flow Cats and keep it with the factory exhaust system?

Not sure if just the hi flo Cats would add any power and deeper sound or if I need the whole system. Linking specific systems for me if anyone knows would help, I'm just a beginner in this realm,

I dicided to put the flowmaster outlaw series exhaust on my 2014 v6 Camaro, it added some nice deeper sound than most mufflers for a v6, and i also got better mpg and hp. I just bought the mufflers seprate and got a shop to do a axle back, then got my resinators deleted. I also am running the bbk cold air inductions and a few more things, but here is a short sound clip of what my flowmaster outlaw series sound likehttp:// www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJIFXQdR8qM

If it doesnt work, its cause i did it on my phone, but if your interested in hearing, my youtube profile is BurtCornDog69

Most definitely get those but ugly lead heavy huge stock mufflers off there! There are several systems that sound great, each person is going to tell you they love theirs. Listen to videos & talk to folks about the sound of the systems & figure out what you want in the sound of your system. I love my Borla. I even opted to keep it when I decided to get ARH long tube headers & a specially designed H-pipe to help with the rasp & drone out cars tend to get with headers. Here is a link to a professionally done video of mine & of an MRT I found Chase at Apex Motorsports a great help in talking to me about what I wanted in my build & sound & helping me decide which system was best for me. Good luck deciding:

MRT V2 is the best sounding exhaust for the v6 in my eyes iv had mine foir 3 years now, get it welded you will notice a huge difference than just bolting it on

I agree. Bought mine 2 weeks ago and love the sound. I didn't get it welded on but I probably should, no matter how much I tighten the clamps the tips seem to "drift" offcenter in the opening.

Flowmaster's ftw...

Unfortunately with a V6, you will get some of that ricer sound, unless you go full headers on back.....but an intake and an axleback will give you some great sound...

This was Bad Vibe's exhaust... pretty sure his was stock except for the intake and Flowmaster

I will be selling my SLP Loudmouth II setup with quad tips and J-pipes soon. Sounds nice and throaty. No rasp and very little drone thanks to the j-pipes. Most of my co-workers think it sounds like a V-8.
