Only thing that I haven't seen yet is the suggestion of a useable tilt steering column. Like the c5/c6 has, also like a vette, add the power telescoping feature as well. This column reminds me of a Jap car useless tilt. I like pulling the lever back in my vette and avalanche and have it tilt up before I get out. This is how it has been since GM started doing columns back in the 60's.

Thanks for the awesome car, Thanks for taking input.

1. Driver seat retract when door opens to ease getting out, move back when closed.
2. Power passenger seats.
3. centered steering wheel, minor gripe, but it seems like it faces towards the driver door versus centered and directly at the driver. not symmetrical
4. steering wheel extends fully, maybe sits a little lower.
5. controllable fog lamps
6. better interior lighting
7. shed some weight / track pack
8. HUD
9. backup camera in mirror

1) Make Sport Mode Sporty, by disabling AFM and reducing Torque Management

2) Nav system option

3) Memory seats. Also, let the front part of the seat pan go lower
(it tilts back when all the way down)

4) Forget HUD (had it before and it's useless) Add NAV option instead

Remote start on the 1SS

Make it lighter and/or smaller... but still keep the v8. It should be within 150 pounds of the Mustang.

A nicer interior so Car & Driver will shut up already.

More power than Dodge and Ford... stay #1.

And make it so people can order any of the options... like the old days.

I am not sure much could be done to address this now, but I am 6'2" and I have a sunroof and I barely have enough headroom. Sometimes I can feel my hair bumping the roof. If the sunroof was wider then it wouldn't be an issue. In my 4th gen, the t-tops add alot of extra headroom, and my firebird is a much lower car than the Camaro. I am used to it though, and I am glad that I can fit, b/c that would be a major bummer to be like 6'4" or taller and not be able to drive the Camaro. I've heard the non sunroof car gives an extra inch or so, but I have to have a sunroof in my ride, I love the extra light and airflow in the warmer months.

As others have said, I'd like to see:

GM licensed turbo/supercharger kit for V6
HUD
memory seats
cooled seats
user defined multi-colored lighting for ambient lighting, gauges, stereo, etc...
HD radio with itunes tagging
touch screen Nav

Thanks for the opportunity to have some input.

Sorry to be redundant, but there have been some great suggestions that I'll chime in on. I figure that the more you hear it, the more likely that the suggestions will be taken into consideration.

I have a 2SS, so I'm pretty damn happy with that bad boy. With that said, the interior lighting definately needs to be enhanced. It's like a cave in there at night! Floor lighting, lights that point down on the rear view mirror and lighting in the rear seat area would be a great start. I also like the idea of enhancing the lighting on the dash mentioned by bond2.

Bottom line: keep it a few steps ahead of the competition and sales will stay up in the stratosphere where they are now....

More comfortable steering wheel

Ambient lighting across dash

Jetstream Blue

Red interior option

Cut the weight down

That's all I can think of.

Oh, and Z/28.

I must say that every time I get into my Camaro I am on cloud nine. Though I do have a few suggestions that would improve my experience greatly (if's that is possible!)

1. Please stop forcing me to go from 1st to 4th gear shifting on the SS manual transmission. That is very irritating and dangerous.

2. Memory Seats. I am 5' 3" and my husband is 6' 1". So it's a pain for me every time he drives it.

3. Spare Tire.

4. T-Tops.

5. Expandable sun visors.

6. Larger stereo face with LCD display and intergrated GPS.

7. USB port in every stereo.

First, awesome car. I knew I was buying a Camaro when I bought this car but had no idea that is was actually buying this great beast of an automobile. This car is one of the funnest cars I've driven. I love this car and it goes without saying GM has done a great job.

As for improvements, most of them have been mentioned but I'll reiterate:
1. Memory seats
2. Push button start (like on the Vettes and Caddys)
3. Keyless entry (like on the Vettes and Caddys)
4. Height adjustment on passenger seat
5. Auto dimming and heating on passenger side mirror
6. LEDs for every bulb possible (depending on feasibility)

Thanks for doing this garfin.

I FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS CAR, IN A CAR SHOW AND WAITED 4YRS FOR IT TO COME OUT!!!

I think everyone would agree to this...PLEASE give us the OPTION to have the Concept INTERIOR, STEERING WHEEL, GAUGES, and the ultra thin SIDE VIEW MIRRORS, EXHAUST!, FUEL DOORS, the very WIDE 22'' WHEELS! AND THE PEARLESCENT PAINT JOB...

ONE thing that will make a SIGNIFICANT difference:

A REAL GPS SCREEN/DISPLAY.... with better iPhone connectivity..

Last but not least... Customer-loyalty trade in or buy incentive for current Camaro owners

THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY DREAM COME TRUE!
