I finally had mine do it in Track Mode and Rev Matched enabled.
Also, I never noticed it before, but if you downshift and hold the clutch in, the revs will stay up at the appropriate RPM for the matching speed, until you let the clutch out, or put it in neutral. I wonder if the ECM is getting a wrong vehicle speed when the car revs itself.

I'm not sure if the rev-matching should hold the throttle while holding the clutch in. Shouldn't it just be a blip?

My 2017 ZL1 had it happen last week in a parking lot. I had it in Sport mode and rev matching was not engaged. Surprised the heck out of me too!

It has happened to me as well and only in Track mode twice. What I have noticed is that it always goes up to 5k RPM. I am wondering if it has something to do with the no lift shift feature in the car. Just wondering because that is where your RPMs have to be to activate it. Could be completely wrong, but smells kind of fishy.

FYI, I had it happen a couple times. It has not happened in 6 months since getting my car tuned.
