Only 600 miles and the A/C needs a recall, my Convertible tops has rub ,arks on it and I have a piece popping out every time I put the top down.

What should I expect at 6,000 miles??

Your engine should blow up.

Mine popped off too on the second day. When I tried to close the top it was really difficult to turn the handle, and the next time I opened it the piece fell in my lap. It is no longer useable due to it being squeezed and deformed from the pressure I put on it while closing the top. Dumb design in my opinion.

Assembly replaced on 7/1/2011 - new bushing popped out of new assembly on 7/8, probably the 4th time dropping the top. Dealer now wants the car for a day to investigate, guess it'll be a while before I can get it back to them. (actually waiting for GM to solve the issue, where I can get it addressed without my car being the test bed for the local tech to learn about convertible tops, and requiring it to be left with them for an, as of yet, unknown length of time)

Now I'm starting to see the rub marks on the convertible top, so will have this bushing issue addressed again, when I have it in for the top rub mark inspection.

I don't have the bushing problem (that I can see), however the top won't align when putting it up and I have to push down on the top to lock it place.
Anyone have this? Maybe a precursor to the bushing popping out?

I super glued mine in place to hold them. They came out every time I retracted the top. This seems to be holding them for now.

I'm sorry to see everyone having issues with this. I'll be looking to see if there is any upcoming documentation on this issue. Hopefully we can get all of you guys resolved for this.
