Random BCM issues

Periodically My BCM totally forgets everything... I have to roll the windows down and back up. Happens about once every six months.

A couple days ago while driving home all dash lights went out and radio went off completely.... They came back on and off several times.... One time a message came up about the drivers side door. Then annother message about Service stabilitrac. After the 10 min fit it decided it was fine again.

The next day I come out from work to find the driver side window rolled down about 3" car had been sitting all day and it was raining when I came in so theres no way that I would have rolled the window down that morning.

Any ideas?

Check your positive battery post under the hood. Driver side...red plastic cover. 13mm bolt. Had same symptoms as you...sans service stabilitrak. Tightened 3 full turns...removed bolt, hit last 2 threads with Loctite red and installed. No more issues.

If that doesn't work, check battery terminals...and a small 6 gauge wire on positive battery terminal with a wire loom and maybe a yellow 1/2" tape wrap at end of loom where wire connector installs to battery post.

If that doesn't work, check battery voltage at battery. Then if you are questionable on voltage, remove battery and charge your battery on low for 3 to 5 hours or dependant on what your charger amperage output is....if that doesnt work, take your battery in for a load test. You may have a bad cell causing voltage spikes to the BCM.

Keep us posted!
