Got another buddy saying his Mini Cooper S w/ twin scroll is faster, True or False? I got CAI + Mrt v2.

my guess would be the Mini, but i have no numbers or anything to back it up. Do those come stock with a turbo? or is that a add on?

I just sold a 2004 Mini Cooper S 6 speed manual and it was faster then my Camaro and handled way better.

and you would likely burn the crap out of the V6 Camaros in your supercharged cobalt. Turbo Mini vs Camaro V6 = Mini wins in turns...Camaro wins in straights

And I smoke those supercharged Cobalts with my Redline. The supercharged Cobalts weren't all that fast, the turbos are a different story.

No I did not. Early mini Cooper s came with a supercharger, later ones came with turbos, both have around the same hp.

Ok, to keep you happy, and to actually contribute to ther thread:

Gen 1 CooperS 172hp supercharged
Gen 2 CooperS 181hp twin scroll turbo

Quarter mile times should be only a few thents faster but still slower than the camaro V6 stock vs stock

Drag race stock for stick Camaro wins, the Cooper will handle much better and it should, its basically a go cart. I doubt that handling ability would be able to make up for the Camaro's quicker acceleration though around a track.

Im not knowledgeable at all about modding those cars either but Id bet you can make the turbo ones much faster than the V6 Camaro more easily.
