Bow Tie on Front Grill and Rear

Has anyone tried to remove the rear badge? I would like to see how it looks. Back on 1st generation Z/28's they had the rear badge right in the center of the brake lights. I would be interested to see how it looks. When I get mine I am taking the rear bow tie badge off for sure. I hope that they come out if a plastic insert for the front grill as well.

There have been several people who have removed these, just do a search.

Thank you! I have searched but I would like to see if there is a ZL1 badge that is big enough to fill in between the tail lights. People have done SS. The grill in the front is different and I am wondering if any vendors are working on a blank.

I got my car yesterday and had dealer remove it. I am putting the black fill piece between the tail lights and a black bow tie on the fill piece. I might consider moving the badge there instead. I also had a black bow tie put in the front. I think it looks great, almost like a solid black grill but i proudly still have the chevy logo there. I will post pictures of my new baby later today.

What an awesome car.

I decided not to black out the rear space between the tail lights but here are pictures with a black rear and front bowtie. If you want to badge he rear you will need to bend a letter, not sure that will work.

Where did you get the Black Bowties from? Did you just paint your Gold one's black? Think it looks great and I want to do the same -
