Just .... A.... Car.... :/

So sitting around shooting the breeze with a few co-workers and one decides to lean up against the back end all casual like.... I looked at them like they were a little crazy and then.... Wait for it he put his foot (boot covered) on the bumper.... so I tell him to kindly room his a$$ from my car and quick like, he did and apologized but another co-worker was like dude chill it's just a car just a car!!!! Are you kidding me.... This is not the first time I've heard this... It's not just any car.
1. It's mine
2. It's mine
3. It's a 2014 camaro
4. Did I mention it's mine!!!!

Anyone experience the "it's just a car"?

I feel ya. Also had a conversation at work today and they asked why I always parked at in the far back. I said so nobody else would be so close and they scoffed. Just a car... Apparently not your car! Argh

What a jerk! That is very rude and disrespectful to you and your car.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one dealing with this.... I was the same way with my 04' Tahoe sure it wasn't new and a camaro but it was mine I just wasn't as spastic about it... The one that tells me the phrase the most hates her van it's trashed out and well I kinda understand why she feels "it's just a car" but I tell her you wait till you get your new truck....

I picked up a mechinic that I work with to give him a ride into work (side story his SUV is broke down) as we were standing around smoking before going into the shop he started to lean back toward my car and I grabed his arm and pulled him forward. He quickly got the hint and apoligized saying bad habit that he always lean on his.

My daily driver is a Toyota Corolla and someone did exactly that....leaned on my trunk lid and put their muddy boot on my bumper.....I really don't understand why people find it is OK to lean on cars that are not theirs and use them as a food rest.

If someone did that to my Camaro I'd flip.

I definitely feel your pain.

unusual, i would think the women would put their boots on a car, as most dont seem to care alot about their cars, its clothes and shoes, etc. but, why would someone put their foot or shoe on your bumper?? thats weird. what kind of red necks you work with. kick his ass and move on.

What's wrong with someone leaning on the car? The clothes aren't going to damage it. (:

Off topic but pearland eh? Y'all ready for the beatdown Allen is gonna hand out Saturday? LOL
