can we call the synergy green RS ??
Wusup everybody, Soooo i was wondering..would it be "ok" to say that the synergy green camaro is an RS camaro.. correct me if Im wrong but it does have all the RS features ------>( of course minus the halo's)
OK so I'll list all the features (for those who are not familiar) and u can decide 4 Yourself. Cyber Grey Rally Stripes Rear spoiler 19-inch wheels,Perrelie Tires Synergy Green instrument panel(lighting on the panel) Door inserts and stitching Convenience and Connectivity Package, which add Bluetooth, USB port remote Vehicle start on key Steering wheel controls If I' am not mistaken all that is missing is the HID's And the darker tail lights So0o0o0o0 the question is can we respect the synergy camaro to be labeled RS

It is not a Camaro RS. It does have features of the RS package, but the VIN report will show that it is not a Camaro RS. Even with the remaining elements of the RS package, it won't even pass for a Camaro RS clone because 2010 Camaros in SGM aren't available with the RS package.
On a side note, I'd keep your Synergy Green Camaro as OEM as possible and keep the miles down. It's going to be very collectable.

The RS package on a V6 also has the 20" wheels, painted roof trim, Halos, HIDs, tinted tail lights, and probably something else. Its not an RS unless, well.... it has the RS package. Anybody seen the "here's your sign" smiley?

Here's what it would look like with the wheels.

Why call it an RS. RS is really nothing but a badge..... it does mean alot to a few though.
Be glad you got most of the RS package for little cost. You can add HID aftermarket very inexpensively and the aftermarket halos are much better than factory too. You see folks adding all types of kits, spoilers, air dams..... yet if you change badges some will call you a poser.... go figure.

Cyber Grey Rally Stripes
Rear spoiler 19-inch wheels,Perrelie Tires Synergy Green instrument panel(lighting on the panel) Door inserts and stitching Convenience and Connectivity Package, which add Bluetooth, USB port remote Vehicle start on key Steering wheel controls pretty sure the only RS thing is the spoiler, maybe the steering wheel controls idk. everything else is different or an extra add-on altogether. stripes/19in/color door/dash/conv-conn pkg/remote start are all NOT part of the regular RS package. |

I am NOT a fan of the RS package, I had to order my car to get a 2SS w/o the RS package. I honestly prefer the more retro look of the standard headlights, the white SS emblems, the bright silver wheels etc.
In the late 60's the hidden headlights were the main part of the RS package. Today the HALO lights are the main part of the RS package. So...to answer your question.............NO. |

Like Shuffler said, I picked the Synergy because it has a lot of the RS & 2LT stuff. Leather would've been nice, but the cloth with the green stitching is pretty cool. Definitely not an RS. I can appreciate anyone who thinks this car is cool, but selfishly, I hope the production numbers are low.

Too bad it's official SGM will be available in ALL trim levels for 2011 for a limited time this means 2LT/RS, or SS w/ RS package
