V6 Camaro vs....V6 Nissan Altima
Stats:
2013 LT Camaro Engine: 3.6L V6 Trans: Auto Crank HP: 323 Curb weight: 3741 1/4 Mile @ 14.2 2013 Nissan Altima SL Engine: 3.5L V6 Trans: Auto Crank hp: 270 Curb weight: 3358 1/4 Mile @ 14.3 It has 2 extra doors, weighs 400lbs less, and is 1k cheaper than a 1LT. 14.2 vs 14.3 is still too close for comfort. I can already feel the bruises in my ego as my 312 hp V6 gets walked on by a family of 4 in that godawful car. I really want to see the Camaro get down to the ATS's weight of 3315. 300+ hp in that-now that would be fun |

And the Altima isn't even the fastest V6 family sedan. I think the Accord and Camry are faster than the Altima

I have raced one (video available in my Youtube channel)
2009 or 2010 model and it wants easy to beat but I was able to beat it (even though it had the jump on me) but I would say drivers race

They start at 30k so I wouldn't feel too bad. They really should have offered a real small conservative turbo on the V6 Camaro to bump power safely up to like 360 or around there, would have eliminated a lot of competition's performance and would have likely sold like crazy.

My last car was a loaded 2009 altima sl 4 cylinder and was a great car. Put about 50k on it with no mechanical problems. Not in the same class as camaro on looks but its a sporty little car for a sedan.

Now I know why an Altima was pestering me, totally ignored him and not even worth the time to write about it. Are the V6 Camaros that bad that it boils down to a driver's race with a 4 door family car?????

Racing is not everything. Remember you have a Camaro. So how many Altima clubs or shows are there in America.
Enjoy your Camaro and ignore everyone else.

Altimas are transportation appliances that get you from point A to point B, and nothing more. Camaros have personality.

Just enjoy your car, if getting beat by an Altima is something your concerned about then you bought the wrong car. NOW! at the same time, I used to own a v6 and some people have cars that should destroy you but just don't have the right driver. So just have fun with it!

Should we talk about Camaros losing to my wife's 5000 pound V6 Flex?

Girlfriend as a 2008 altima v6 manual. Its a fine car but I don't think it takes a beating as well as the camaro. It recently reached the 100k mile point and has needed over $10k in repairs in the last couple months, everything is basic worn, cracked, or broken. It has been driven pretty hard though. I would definitely say it is around as fast as my camaro is.
