I originally posted this in the LLT to follow up on a thread I started last year, but I think HP Tuners will be releasing their tuning platform for the
2012+ V6 Platform soon. Platforms used in the 2012 Camaros, 2012 Impala V6, 2012 Cadillac CTS as well as a few others are the same so it looks like progress is being make for you.
A cant wait to see how the V6s perform with a quality tuning platform for the engine and transmission. Should be fun!

I think I download 223.684 to my wife's laptop today.
They are still writing it, but almost there.

It will be the best software on the market for V6 tuning. It will cover most of the same span of tables as the V8.

I cant wait to do a twin turbo V6 at RevX with it

I own a 2012 LFX A6. I was hoping someone could answer a few questions/concerns I have regarding having a custom tune installed. I certainly don't know what all is being done to increase HP, but isn't it dangerous to advance timing to get the increase. Doesn't GM use the parameters that it does to protect the engine/drivetrain? I would love to improve the capabilities of my engine as well as the tranny, but how safe are these changes? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
