Finally got to drive my camaro again. Twin Turbo m6
Now i am on the third motor in a year. Ouch. I first put the hellion twin turbo kit on and after 4 dyno pulls the motor blew up because the tuner had no clue what he was doing. Got a new gm long block and had good rods and pistons and main studs installed and it lasted about 2k miles. The engine builder didnt line hone it and it ate all the main bearings and the bearing material went through the turbos and trashed the. OUCH. This time a reputable engine builder put it back together and work turbochargers redid the turbos. Im hoping it makes good hp and stays together now.
New ls3 block stock crank wiseco 10.0 to 1 pistons callies compstar rods arp main and head studs ls9 head gaskets ls3 heads texas speed ported oil pump arp flywheel and clutch bolts stock ls3 intake custom lme camshaft with prc 650 springs and hardened pushrods twin 64mm billet wheel hellion turbo system with upgraded intercooler eboost 2 boost controller id850 injectors squash dual pump return style fuel system slp zr1 twin disk clutch alky control meth kit dsx remote tuning---dave is awesome 3 inch magnaflow catback Hoping to get it tuned in and dynoed pretty soon. Congrats, I went 10 months waiting for Erik Koenig of HKE to build my motor. I've had it back for about 10 months now.
The poor little D1SC is way overtasked and Twin PT6766s are going in in January. Only reason im not TT yet is cant bear to be without the car for more than a day or two. Just having too much fun at only 758rwhp. 1100 is just around the corner though. That should be a little more fun.

Sorry to hear about your engine troubles. I know how you must feel. I've had two engines go in 2 months. Awesome to see you're back up and running. |

Thanks. Thought about freaking out on the engine builder but it would just be a waste of breath. Just go down the road with a lesson learned
