Auto trans questions / shifts loud and launch control

Just went over 500 miles so I got to test out the 0-60 and up today.

Just wondering if everyone's auto transmission shifts so loudly?
Is that normal?

Below is a video so you can hear what I am talking about.

question 2:
I tried out launch control and it's pretty disappointing because it starts off slow then takes off.... only got a 5.8 0-60 with launch control.



EDIT 1:
2/16/14 vid using GoPro attached to steering column:
TC on, LC no, Auto in D (no paddle shift).
Lost time with tire spin out the gate.

I'm not too concerned right now. On another forum that gets a little more traffic folks tell me it's normal.
