According to the new issue of Car & Driver magazine they are saying that the new SRT Viper will come stock with 660hp. Thats staggering to see a car that light come stock with that much power.

I'm going to hazard a guess that the weight will be in the realm of 3350lbs, roughly what a ZR1 is. I'm willing to bet that the ZR1 was Mopars benchmark to beat.

of course 638hp at 33xx lbs is nasty also.

I can't believe that no one has entered this thread claiming that the 2013 GT500 will run with the Viper since it's only 10 more HP.

After all it's the most amazing car ever built, Right?

Dodge has been pretty clear that they consider the V10 a hallmark of the Viper. Rumor has it that it may be an 8.7l.
