Dog DishesPoverty Caps on 18" heritage steel wheels

Anyone thought of, or seen center caps for the 18" Heritage Steel wheels that resemble the old Dog Dish Poverty Caps as seen on 1968's and 1968's?

I'm gearing up to buy myself a new 5th gen, and thats what I want to run for wheels.

I don't think the steel heritage wheels have a good surface for this type of hub cap to grab onto. The stock center caps have plastic lug nuts that screw onto the back of the real lug nuts. The car in your picture had hub caps that you kind of snapped on to part of the steel wheel shaped / designed to grab it.

I haven't seen anyone who has done this with a 5th gen. There are pictures on this site of the steel wheels that you can look at to see if you can figure out how, but it doesn't look like it would be easy.

yeah I would intend on running a different center cap, but it would be bad ass to make a center cap that resembled the dog dishes. i'm sure cops would love them too.
