Well is the trans stock? If so, you can only expect it to hold up for so long behind a super charged engine.

Do you honestly think they are going to increase the hp by over 150, do nothing else to it and offer a warranty? I let you answer that question.

So what is different on the Cadilliac CTV tranny as opposed to the A6 in the Camaro?

The A6 in the SS Camaro is the 6L80. The A6 in the CTS-V is the 6L90. So clearly it's at least 10 better. Clearly they are different in some capacity. My guess is the ZL1 will have the 6L90.

Groovy, again it will be interesting to know what changed, and yet another reason to buy a ZL1...

What can I do you for my trans.
They only change is the tune (shift point is .0025 sec between the gear) only the second gears slip .05 sec to go in 3 gears 1 to 2 = .0025 2 / 3 = .05 3 / 4 = .0025 4 / 5 = .0025 testing with HP tuning

Give Circle D transmission a call in Texas. They have been written up so many times for having a awesome Camaro transmission rebuild meant to hold 600+ RWHP.
They could also probably tell you whats up with your transmission. |

If the shift times are set too short it will slip by never learning the timing.
If the torque load in the tune is off the shift pressure/timing will be off causing slip. The A6's are very touchy to tune. GM put's in a ton of TM to help the tranny.Thats how they last but shift like crap. |
