I'm guessing at 420 hp for the base V8 (LS3) and a curb weight of 3,500 lbm. These numbers are derived from the 2006 GTO (400 hp @ 3,725 lbs).
The leaked Camaro specs tell a slightly different story...
416 hp @ 3740 lbs
9 lbs/hp (0.11 hp/lbs)

I don't feel too bad. I was 4 hp and 225 lbs off. My estimate was for an empty tank of gas. yeah.. that's what it was.

Power to weight ratio for the V-8 with auto trans. will be 9.59 lbs. per horsepower. Where is the BLOWER??? I'm in dire need of more punch. Why is the car so heavy?

many reasons, safety is a big one. IRS is another one. . .got complaints about weight due to safety complain to your congressman. . .only way to really change that.

Even IF the Camaro comes in that hefty, the team will make it feel right.

But anyways...if I was to offer up a guess....I'd say it'll land somewhere in the neighborhood of 9.5-10 lbs/hp.
Looks like we have a winner.

And lbs/hp ratio on the V6 will be 12.47 - about 20% better than the mustangs 15.95!

Which just brings up more "What?" to the 0-60 time of 6.1 - Its going to be faster than that, I just know it. Then again, the CTS in this Car and Driver comparison does 0-60 in 6.1 seconds, and it weighs 200 pounds more. Car and drivers best recorded time for the CTS was 5.8 I think (again, 3900 pounds). I think we can expect at least that.

yup. From a bit before we had the actual numbers. Looks like 96CAMaro was the closest.
